Mazda MX-5 Miata
Light and nimble more your speed? Sometimes it’s ours, too, and that’s why Mazda’s new MX-5 Miata is among our top five for 2015. Details on the new roadster are still under wraps, but Mazda has confirmed that it will be approximately 100 kg lighter than the outgoing version. That means it should tip the scales at roughly 998 kg. The only other brands competing in this lightweight space have names that sound vaguely similar to the chime of an old-fashioned cash register.
