The luxury division of Hyundai started its operations more than five years ago and is doing very well in terms of sales. But surprisingly, the brand never set foot in the old continent. It will change soon as Genesis European launch is about to happen in summer. It was confirmed during a press conference in Frankfurt.

The first Genesis vehicles to hit the roads in Europe are the G80 sedan and the GV80 SUV. These vehicles will originally go on sale only in Germany, the UK, and Switzerland. Genesis European launch will allow customers to purchases their vehicles online, and through the brand’s Studios, the first of these will start in London, Munich, and Zurich.

“We are excited to bring such a strong range of globally-recognized products to the region. Genesis is already well-known for its impeccably high standards in design, technology, safety and reliability,” says Dominique Boesch, Managing Director for Genesis Motor Europe.

The next two models to arrive in the European markets are the smaller G70 and GV70. Besides, Genesis will also introduce a dedicated European vehicle before the end of this year. The electric G80 will also be a part of the lineup for Europe, along with the two upcoming EVs.

Genesis has made sure the vehicles meet European weather and customer satisfaction, and it is why they are test driving the cars here and making tweaks. The company also plans to create new user-friendly digital tools for online shopping as well as a thorough online configurator for product selection.

Last of all, all Genesis vehicles come with a Five-Year Care Plan with over-the-air software updates, courtesy car, and roadside assistance.
