When money is no barrier, you can essentially own any car you dream of, even if it hasn’t hit the market yet. This “minivan” may not rival the Sultan of Brunei’s unique one-offs, but an extra-long Porsche is still something remarkable. It’s not the three-row electric SUV set to arrive later this decade. Instead, we have a stretched Cayenne Turbo GT, commissioned by Mark Zuckerberg for his wife.

Priscilla Chan wanted a minivan, and since Porsche doesn’t make one, the Facebook co-founder took matters into his own hands. In an Instagram post, Zuckerberg says he personally designed this so-called minivan, even including electric sliding doors. Though it’s not the first SUV to have such doors, the Toyota Century also boasts this feature.

Zuckerberg worked with West Coast Customs to bring the project to life. He also commissioned a matching 911 GT3 Touring with a manual transmission. His Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing happens to have three pedals too. The cost of the Cayenne Turbo GT family vehicle isn’t clear, but the standard model already starts at just over $200,000.

As wild as a Porsche minivan may sound, an official one actually does exist. We’re not referring to the Porsche B32 from the 1980s, which was essentially a Volkswagen T3 outfitted with a 911 Carrera engine and other upgrades. In 2018, Porsche created the Vision Renndienst as a one-off minivan, though it was only a scale model. The EV had six seats, enough for the Zuckerberg family, who have three children.

This custom Cayenne doesn’t have the unusual seat arrangement of the Vision Renndienst. Porsche’s 2018 minivan featured a central driver’s seat with two passenger seats on either side, similar to the McLaren F1, Speedtail, or Gordon Murray T.50. The Turbo GT seems to have two seats in the front, two more in the middle, and probably at least two in the third row.

It’s uncertain if the large Porsche electric SUV launching in 2027 will come with six or seven seats, but a three-row layout is planned. It wouldn’t be surprising if this luxurious family SUV ends up replacing the elongated Cayenne Turbo GT that the Zuckerberg family has customized.
