Following the debut of the electric Cadillac Escalade IQ, Cadillac is giving its gas-powered giant a makeover for 2025. The updated Escalade features a new front design, a huge touchscreen, and for those who love high performance—the Escalade-V continues to be offered.
The gas-powered Escalade shares a similar look with its electric sibling because Cadillac has incorporated lighting elements from the IQ and other EV models like the Celestiq and Lyriq. The front now boasts vertical headlights with LED accents at the edges of the bumper, a newly illuminated Cadillac emblem graces the hood, and on V-Series and higher trims, even the grille surround shines.
For the first time, the gas Escalade can be outfitted with 24-inch wheels, although 22-inch wheels remain standard. You can choose from several new wheel designs and paint options, including Aegean Stone green, Deep Sea Metallic blue, or Latte Metallic light bronze.
Pop open the new power doors—open and close—and the 2025 Escalade boasts a colossal 55.0-inch display stretching from pillar to pillar. The driver enjoys a 35.0-inch display, while the front passenger benefits from a 20.0-inch touchscreen with video streaming options. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain standard, and those opting for the Executive Second Row package can access 12.6-inch touchscreens in the second row.
The 2025 Escalade retains last year’s 6.2-liter V-8 engine, delivering 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Unfortunately, the 3.0-liter Duramax engine is not available this year. However, the Escalade-V continues with its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine, producing 682 hp and 683 lb-ft.
The Escalade-V receives some distinct upgrades tailored for performance. The front end is notably more aggressive, featuring a larger lower grille to enhance cooling. Inside, the cabin boasts additional carbon fiber accents alongside Jet Black leather. Every trim, apart from the base Escalade, is equipped with the newest Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, which includes an Air Ride adaptive suspension, and Super Cruise is standard throughout.
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade-V will be available for purchase later this year, though pricing details have not yet been announced. The current 2024 Escalade begins at $112,690 (about AED 362,900) with destination fees, and a modest price increase for the 2025 model is anticipated.
