Hyundai revamped its Santa Fe crossover significantly in 2024, introducing a fresh design, enhanced technology, and standard third-row seating. However, these improvements come with a price hike; the 2024 Santa Fe now costs $5,000 more than its predecessor.
The base model SE will start at $35,345 (including the $1,395 destination charge, up $60 from last year). In contrast, the 2023 Santa Fe SE was priced at $30,085, albeit smaller and without three rows of seats. The top-tier option for 2024, the Calligraphy hybrid with all-wheel drive, kicks off at a hefty $50,195.

In contrast to the 2.5-liter turbo-four version, the pricing for the Santa Fe hybrid remains relatively stable. For 2024, the SEL hybrid with front-wheel drive comes in at $38,345, just $800 more than its predecessor.
The Santa Fe‘s 2.5-liter engine produces 277 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, coupled with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, achieving 62 mph in 8.0 seconds. Alternatively, there’s a smaller 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid option, generating a combined output of 231 hp and matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Santa Fe has expanded in size in all dimensions from the previous model, creating space for third-row seating and increasing legroom. Its new design is more upright and boxy, with increased length, height, and width, allowing for up to seven passengers.
Internally, Hyundai has introduced the Panoramic Curved Display, merging the 12.3-inch driver’s display and infotainment screen into one large unit. Beneath the vents, physical buttons are situated above a spacious compartment for cellphones, equipped with dual wireless charging pads and storage below.
The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe equipped with the 2.5-liter engine is now available at dealerships, with the hybrid variant set to arrive this spring.
