Introducing the latest version of the Mazda3 for 2024, featuring an updated range of options with some new additions and removals. Starting at a base price of $25,335 (including the $1,165 destination fee), the new model reflects an increase of $1,720 compared to the previous year.
The entry-level S grade now exclusively comes in a sedan variant. Notable enhancements in the standard amenities include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear door alert. Under the hood, the 2024 Mazda3 is equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that delivers 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
The all-new Select Sport model takes over from the previous Select trim for this year’s sedan and hatchback lineup. This upgraded version offers convenient features such as keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a rear armrest with cup holders, and turn signals integrated into the side mirrors. The sleek upholstery comes in a stylish black leatherette finish.
For those seeking even more comfort and luxury, the Preferred grade comes with additional enhancements. Enjoy the elegance of a power moonroof, the cozy warmth of heated front seats, and the versatility of an eight-way power driver seat. Inside, you can choose between a classic black or a sophisticated Greige leatherette interior.
The latest version of the Carbon Edition exclusively features all-wheel drive. Moreover, this specific trim level offers the added convenience of wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, it boasts a Qi wireless charger for smartphones. The Carbon Edition is available in a single, distinctive colour—Polymetal Gray—and showcases elegant red leather upholstery.
The Premium variant currently offers a six-speed manual transmission, FWD, and a hatchback body style. This particular model boasts a high-quality Bose sound system with 12 speakers, a head-up display, navigation functionality, and an advanced adaptive lighting system for the front. The interior is elegantly furnished with a choice of black or red leather upholstery.
The Turbo designation has been replaced, giving way to the new Carbon Turbo edition. Its engine boasts turbocharging capabilities, delivering an impressive 250 hp and 320 pound-feet of torque when fueled with 93-octane gasoline. Notably, all-wheel drive is the standard configuration for these models. On the exterior, the car flaunts a captivating Zircon Sand Metallic body, complemented by sleek gloss-black side mirrors. Inside the cabin, a tasteful blend of black and terracotta leatherette adorned with striking red stitching creates an inviting atmosphere. The infotainment screen sets itself apart with a generous size of 10.25 inches, surpassing the 8.8-inch display found in other trims.
The Turbo Premium Plus remains the highest trim level available. The sedan boasts a subtle lip spoiler at the back, while the hatchback features a sleek roof spoiler and a front air dam. Enhanced safety features have been introduced, such as Rear Direction Base Safety, which incorporates brake assistance during reverse maneuvers, as well as traffic jam assist, a comprehensive 360-degree camera system, traffic sign recognition, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Additional luxurious features include a high-quality 12-speaker sound system, built-in navigation, and a convenient head-up display.
Mazda offers a selection of exquisite paint options, including Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Machine Gray Metallic, priced at $595 each. Additionally, Polymetal Gray Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, and Ceramic Metallic are available at a cost of $450.
