If you own a 2021 to 2023 Ford F-150 with a 5.0-litre V8 that requires a power boost, Ford Performance has a new kit to enhance the truck’s horsepower significantly. The package elevates the output to 700 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The kit is priced at $12,350.

The package comprises a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger to increase the V8’s stock output of 400 hp and 410 lb-ft. It is incompatible with trucks featuring the Pro Power Onboard system. This upgrade is permissible in all 50 states.

The enhancement goes beyond just a supercharger; Ford also offers styling updates. Buyers can choose between the package’s Black Edition and Bronze Edition; both are priced the same.

Both editions include 22-inch wheels with a six-spoke design and black lug nuts. Additionally, there is a black grille. Stripes adorn the sides of the bed, and a rear lowering kit is included. Inside, Ford Performance provides carpeted floor mats and an FP700 interior badge.

With this upgrade, the F-150 can surpass the Raptor trim’s 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. However, the off-road-focused components of the rugged vehicle are not included.

The kit’s output falls slightly short of the Raptor R’s 700 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. Nevertheless, the off-road capabilities of that truck are not included. However, if you do not intend to take your F-150 off-road, this upgrade could be an alternative to the more rugged models.

Ford is presently preparing to update the F-150. Kumar Galothra, the president of the Ford Blue division, recently shared some details about the upcoming truck. The plan is to streamline the lineup by reducing the number of available configurations. This entails eliminating approximately 2,400 components from the truck. “This means fewer parts to design, test, and ensure quality,” he remarked.

The refreshed F-150 features updated front and rear exterior styling. Unfortunately, specific details have not been disclosed yet. Inside, there seems to be a revised center stack. Expect the updated truck to be available for the 2024 model year.
