The Range Rover Sport SVR is no more. Welcome to the Range Rover Sport SV. The latest powerful SUV removes the final letter of its suffix, alongside the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine created by Jaguar Land Rover. Instead, it adopts a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with mild-hybrid capabilities sourced from BMW. This powertrain generates an impressive 626 horsepower and 590 pound-feet (800 Newton meters) of torque, which is 59 hp and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) higher than its predecessor.

Please note that the torque mentioned above can only be experienced when activating Dynamic Launch Mode, resulting in an output of 551 lb-ft (750 Nm). In regular driving conditions, the engine produces a torque of 551 lb-ft (750 Nm). This exceptional Range Rover model achieves a remarkable acceleration time of 3.6 seconds to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) and has a maximum speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). These performance statistics are quite noteworthy for a gasoline-powered SUV with a substantial weight of 2,560 kilograms (5,644 pounds).

Customers have the opportunity to reduce a significant amount of weight with the introduction of the world’s initial 23-inch wheels made from carbon fiber. These innovative wheels help in eliminating a total of 36 kilograms (80 pounds). In addition, the latest SV model proudly presents an exclusive feature: optional carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo. By choosing these brakes, customers can further reduce their weight by 34 kg (75 lbs) in comparison to the standard iron brakes. It is worth noting that the carbon fiber hood also contributes to weight reduction, resulting in a total savings of 76 kg (168 lbs).

The powerful SUV cruises on Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires with front measurements of 285/40 R23 and rear measurements of 305/35 R23. In addition to the regular Dynamic mode, the vehicle introduces the SV Mode, which further reduces the vehicle’s height by an extra 15 millimeters (0.6 inches). This mode enhances the throttle response, steering, and speed of the eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV boasts an interesting feature within its cabin. It incorporates advanced technology in the front seats, which includes built-in transducers. These transducers provide a unique sensory experience by vibrating in sync with the music flowing through the impressive 29-speaker, 1430-watt Meridian sound system. This immersive setup allows the driver and front occupant to intimately connect with the music. To further enhance relaxation, the vehicle offers a wellness program featuring six specially crafted tracks: Poise, Soothe, Serene, Cool, Tonic, and Glow. These tracks are designed to promote a sense of calmness and well-being.

In its initial year of production, Land Rover plans to offer the high-performance SUV exclusively as an Edition One model. This exclusive variant will be accessible to a limited number of clients who are invited to place their orders.
