The Range Rover of the present era remains youthful in terms of age, yet Land Rover is determined to enhance its potency in 2024. Experience the thrill of sitting in the driver’s seat of a Range Rover SV, where you’ll be granted the authority of over 600 horsepower at your disposal.
The 2024 Range Rover introduces mild-hybrid technology for its 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine in the latest update. However, the most notable highlight is the addition of a brand-new V8 option exclusively available for the Range Rover SV, boasting an impressive 606 horsepower. This engine generates a torque of 553 pound-feet. For those seeking a more balanced performance, the 3.0-liter six-cylinder plug-in hybrid variant now offers a combined horsepower of 542 in the 550e version. With this enhancement, the PHEV achieves a faster 0-60 mph time of 4.8 seconds. Moreover, utilizing electric power alone allows for a travel range of 51 miles. It is interesting to note that Land Rover has not disclosed specific details regarding the Range Rover SV’s acceleration or top speed.
The tech department has undergone a few updates too. The 2024 Range Rover has incorporated the newest edition of the company’s Pivi Pro infotainment system, which can be accessed via a 13.1-inch center screen. Additionally, the Range Rover now features Dynamic Response Pro, which was first introduced in the Range Rover Sport. This enhancement provides improved roll control when navigating corners. Moreover, for off-road adventures, the 2024 Range Rover utilizes adaptive off-road cruise control as a Terrain Response 2 system component. This system offers four different settings that adjust the SUV’s speed automatically in various situations. As a result, the driver can focus solely on steering around or over obstacles.
Moving away from the technology sector, Land Rover has recently introduced the SV Bespoke commissioning service. It caters to individuals interested in personalizing their new Range Rover with an extensive selection of exterior and interior customization options. The range of choices available is pervasive. Customers can select from 391 different colors for materials and 230 paint options, ranging from satin to gloss. Moreover, Land Rover also offers custom hood and rear gate scripts, which can be crafted from various metals, including gold. Land Rover emphasizes that their paint-to-sample service can fulfill any color preference the buyer expresses as if these options weren’t already plentiful.
The SV Customized experience follows a comprehensive seven-step procedure that guides customers in selecting various aspects such as colors, veneers, materials, themes, personalization, and additional options. It is important to note that this exclusive service is currently limited to SV and Autobiography SUVs within the Range Rover lineup.
“Range Rover represents a distinct sense of elegance and opulence,” remarked Geraldine Ingham, the managing director of Range Rover. “Today, we are delighted to introduce our esteemed clients to the new SV Bespoke commissioning service, offering them the opportunity to craft their exceptional vehicle personally. They can now select their preferred finishes while receiving expert guidance from our dedicated design team.”
