Toyota is fully geared up for the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon, scheduled from January 13 to 15. Although the Japanese automaker didn’t reveal what it will present at the show, we know a few details.

Toyota Gazoo Racing and Lexus will unveil a concept vehicle that will let motorists “continue to drive their beloved car forever while facing the issue of reducing CO2 emissions.” There will be two more debuts, which Toyota didn’t even give a hint about.

What we can see from the Toyota’s floor at the show, you should be ready for some race cars. GR will introduce new components for 2023. The company’s press conference will start at 9:30 AM, Japan’s local time, on January 13, where president Akio Toyoda and expert racing drivers will present the new offerings.

If you cannot visit the show, you can see the unveilings in the metaverse. From Jan 13, Cluster App will show the virtual space.

The automaker has already told the media about three modified RAV4 PHEVs. One would feature an offroad pack featuring a Yakima roof rack, a gas container on the flank close to the hatchback, fog lights, and black wheels with red mudflaps. The Adventure comes with an altered front fascia, while the Sport Package boasts a trapezoidal entry on the front and body-shaded side sills.

The show will also present some modified Toyotas from the tuner Tom’s Racing featuring the athletic Century with BBS wheels, a widebody gear, an updated turbo mill for the Supra, and a turbo engine for the GR86. Moreover, the Lexus LC500 Convertible would come with a widebody gear, chassis braces, updated suspension, and 21-inch wheels.

The 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon welcomes lots of modified vehicles from tuners as well as automakers. Stay tuned for updates!
