The $108,695 GMC Sierra Denali EV Edition 1 recently debuted and sold out within a day. GMC allowed interested customers to book the flagship model of the all-new Sierra EV for only a $100 totally refundable deposit. So, it wasn’t shocking for us to know the first-built slots are reserved. If you are still interested, you now have to enroll yourself on the waiting list.

The company didn’t reveal how many units they would create for the Denali Edition 1. They did the same for the Hummer EV Edition 1 as well. However, they did tell us customer deliveries will start in Q1 2024.

As we revealed yesterday, the Sierra Denali EV Edition 1 is the range-topper in the lineup featuring all the available best features for the pickup truck. Expect it to offer a 400-miles range, 754 horsepower, 9,500-pound tow rating, and 0 to 60 mph acceleration in only 4.5 seconds. The EV can endure up to 350 kW DC fast charging, thus can add 100 miles in just 10 minutes.

The base model of the Sierra EV – the Elevation – will arrive in 2025 wearing a price tag of about $50,000. While we do not know its technical specs, it will surely be less powerful than the Denali. However, we believe the Elevation will offer 400 miles range as well because the base Chevy Silverado also delivers a 400-mile range.

Both the Sierra EV and Silverado EV are built on the same platform, and their range-toppers have identical specifications as well.
