After introducing Tremor off-road package for the Ranger, F-150, and Super Duty, the American automaker is now offering it for the new 2023 Maverick. The new Maverick Tremor variant contains a number of upgrades, and they are not just ornamental.
Mechanical
Ford has given great attention to the suspension, allowing it to use new springs and shocks at both axles. The result is an uplifted truck, one inch (25 millimeters) higher. Furthermore, the engineers fitted heavier half-shafts and a more durable transmission cooler.
That’s not all! The 2023 Maverick Tremor will use off-road cruise control. It is unique to this model where Trail Control lets the drivers set a speed for their drive on dirt and mud. The system will control the throttle and braking, all by itself. For the Tremor, Ford offers 17-inch alloy wheels with a dark anodized finish and all-terrain tires.
Exterior
Coming to the aesthetics, the Blue Oval did well to complement the mechanical changes. We can see a new front grille and dark Ford emblems along with tinted head- and taillights. If that’s not what excites you about the Maverick Tremor, you can also opt for the Tremor Appearance Package. It will add dark side graphics on the lower part and the hood. Additionally, the roof and side mirror caps sport carbonized gray shade.
Interior
The interior welcomes you with the Black Onyx seat upholstery, sewed Tremor badges, and orange accents that we can see on the door pulls, center console, and a few air vents.
The Tremor Off-Road Package will cost buyers $2,995 and is accessible on the XLT and Lariat variants housing the 2.0-liter EcoBoost and all-wheel drive configuration. The Appearance Package will cost an extra $1,495.
The company will start producing the new Maverick in Mexico before the end of this year. The order books will open from September 2022.
