The 2023 Subaru BRZ pricing details have been revealed and the loveable sports car will hit the roads in America this summer. Featuring a 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER engine and improved design & handling, the new BRZ will cost at least $28,595 (excluding a $1,020 destination and delivery fees), which is $660 more than the previous model.

Powertrain

Detailing the engine first, the 2.4-litre naturally aspirated mill generates 228 hp and 184 pound-feet (249 newton-meters). The mill mates to a six-speed manual transmission or a performance-tuned six-speed electronic direct-control automatic transmission with adaptive control and steering wheel paddle-shift control switches. Subaru offers two variants – Premium and Limited.

Standard Amenities

The Premium trim comes equipped with a TORSEN® limited-slip differential, keyless access with push-button start, LED headlights (low and high beam), vehicle stability control with track mode, incline start assist, and variable intermittent windshield wipers with speed-sensing mist function.

Other regular features include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power fuel-door lock, power windows with auto up/down, rear center console storage box, and Welcome Lighting.

Interior

The interior looks modern with a clean and intuitive layout, boasting a 7-inch digital instrument panel, black upholstery with contrasting red stitching, and performance-style front seats with height-adjustable head restraints. The Limited gets Ultrasuede trim with red leather accents and dual-mode seat-heater controls.

At the centre of the dashboard, we find the Subaru STARLINK 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus infotainment system, which is typical for both variants. The Integrated Centre Information Display supports smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming.

Safety

Both the Premium and Limited are available with the award-winning Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology featuring Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking System, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, High Beam Assist, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. However, the safety suite is exclusive to variants with automatic transmission.
Price

While the 2023 BRZ Premium with an automatic transmission starts at $30,095, the Limited auto trim goes for $32,795. The Limited with six-speed manual demands $31,095 and features

18-inch alloy wheels in a matte gray finish, Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 summer tires, heated exterior power mirrors, upgraded audio system, blind-spot detection with lane keep assist and rear cross-traffic alert, steering responsive headlights, and STARLINK® Safety and Security.
