The world is in love with supercars and that’s why we see many companies, both new and old, try to make the fastest machines. Typically, most of these super cars only live in images and renderings, but the Dues Vayanne Electric hypercar isn’t just a rendering. It is a real super EV that is getting assistance from a few famous brands. So, probably this hypercar will transform itself into a production car one day.
The Vayanne all-electric hypercar comes from the Austria-based Deus Automobiles, which is new to the party. They came on the scene in 2020 with an aim to create niche electric hypercars. For this reason, their first offering Vayanne will be limited to just 99 units.
It not only succeeds as a niche but also registers itself in the hypercar arena with its 2,200 horsepower (1,641 kilowatts). Besides, Deus says the EV features a “design language of symmetry and infinity,” which makes it certainly striking.
Deus revealed the Vayanne Electric Hypercar at the New York Auto Show. The company also showcased a flamboyant interior that harmonizes with the exterior design. The car uses the infinity design theme all over the EV, and we see its evidence from the front air intake and the taillight pattern. The electric car gets a digital instrument cluster, a reasonable centre display, and a row of buttons we have no idea what they do. However, they seem stylish.
For a 2,200 hp hypercar, what most enthusiasts would like to know are the performance figures. Unfortunately, it is the point where things look a bit skeptical. The company has no details about the powertrain. Everything here comes under the ‘predicted’ umbrella. The more than 2,200 horsepower, the 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) run in 1.99 seconds and maximum speed of 400 km/h (248 mph) all figures are an estimation.
It is true Deus is not the first company that has made such extravagant claims about its first car. However, we take trust to the fact that Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering are supporting the efforts of Deus. Both these firms are well-know and are not new to the business. Williams Engineering is the one associated with Formula 1 cars and they have tremendous experience in motorsport and EVs. Knowing this, we can certainly believe the Vayanne would be able to generate 2,200 horsepower and mind-boggling acceleration and top speed figures.
If things go as per the strategy, the automaker will start producing the Vayanne in 2025. As soon as we hear anything new about this new hypercar, we will let you know. So, stay tuned!
