To commemorate the UAE’s 50th year of existence, Dubai Police decided to recruit the Lamborghini Urus into its already impressive fleet of super, hyper, and exotic cars. The Super Sport Utility Vehicle looks dashing in the Dubai Police uniform, ready to perform its duties around the Emirate.
Speaking of the highlights of the Lamborghini Urus, it houses a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 mill delivering 650 hp, presenting an excellent power-to-weight ratio for an SUV. The utility vehicle is ideal to drive in any condition including city, highways, track, and even off the road.
Lt-Gen Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police stated, “By adding supercars like the Lamborghini Urus to our fleet of luxury patrol vehicles, Dubai Police enhances the security presence of its officers during international events and across essential tourist destinations.”
The Italian marque has joined hands with the Dubai Police to offer them one of their best creations that would ensure the security and safety of people in the city. The Urus will patrol around the key places in the city and has the capabilities that meet all the needs of the law enforcement agency.
“Lamborghini is proud to join Dubai Police’s fleet of supercars. The Urus is our highest selling model to date and is a visionary approach based on the infusion of Lamborghini DNA into the most versatile vehicle, the SUV. Through this partnership, we are delighted to assist the Dubai Police in maintaining the safety of the people that call Dubai home.” said Paolo Sartori, Automobili Lamborghini’s regional head for the Middle East and Africa.
The Urus makes for another world’s rarest vehicle that found its place in the Dubai Police fleet.
