Toyota and its luxury brand Lexus both showcased their future electric vehicles during an event organised late last year. The news came with not many details, but the automakers unveiled the exemplary models for different market segments. Lexus introduced wagons, a convertible, a hypercar and some crossover and SUVs.
We already can recognise the Lexus RZ 450e, which should debut this year. However, there would be more battery-electric SUVs including the one you see in the picture above. While it is not clear where Lexus will slot it, it seems bigger than the RZ 450e, though we believe it will not be the flagship SUV.
This electric Lexus SUV has the similar spindle grille we found on other models the automaker teased last year. We can see the front and rear three-quarter of the vehicle. At the back, we find vent creases in the bumper and full-width taillight covering the whole rear section stretching to the rear fenders.
Toyota and Lexus have plans to introduce 30 electric vehicles before the end of 2030, which seems very aspiring for brands new to the electric arena. The first all-electric Lexus will be the RZ 450e borrowing its platform from the Toyota bZ4x and the Subaru Solterra.
