The 2022 Honda Passport is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 pumping out 280 horsepower (209 kilowatts) and 262 pound-feet (355 Newton-meters), mating to a nine-speed automatic. This powertrain is standard across the lineup.
The entry-level trim comes with an 8.0-inch infotainment display, wireless smartphone charging, a power moonroof, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, and remote engine start. Inside, it offers customers leather upholstery with high-contrast stitching, a power moonroof, and a power rear hatch with a remote opening.
Those who love to venture out and hit the beaten path should often opt for the TrailSport, which features an improved track width of 0.39-inch (10-millimetre) and sports 18-inch wheels with 245/60-size tires. Honda distinguishes this off-road-focused TrailSport with a different grille design and updated bumpers. The interior also includes a different orange contrast stitching.
Thanks to the Honda Sensing suite of safety tech, the 2022 Honda Passport is a highly safe crossover. It comprises collision mitigation braking with forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, road departure mitigation with lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a rear-seat reminder, and rear seatbelt reminder.
