If you desire to haul up to 8 passengers and lots of luggage in the back, the 2021 GMC Yukon is hard to beat. Available in five trim levels, the most luxurious option in the Yukon range is Denali. For offroad enthusiasts, GMC now offers the AT4 variant with lots of goodies that would help you conquer the beaten paths.
We recently got a chance to test drive both the Denali and the AT4 and would love to share our experience with you. To watch the video review of the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali and AT4, click here.
Engine
While GMC gives buyers three engine options for the Yukon in the U.S., we have just two options here in the UAE. The SLE, SLT and AT4 variants come equipped with a 5.3-lire petrol V8 engine generating 355 horsepower mating to a 10-speed automatic transmission run by a push-button panel on the dashboard, allowing you to switch between rear- and all-wheel drive.
The range-topping Yukon Denali features a 6.2-litre petrol-powered V8 good for 420 horsepower. The transmission is the same as we find in other variants. In our test, the Denali delivered around 8.5 km/l.
Exterior
No doubt, the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali looks premium from all angles thanks to the new multi-dimensional grille design, dual exhaust system with double twin polished stainless steel tips, bright roof rails, chrome-accented door handles, body trim, and premium wheel options.
Interior
Apart from the available seating capacity for up to eight passengers, the Denali boasts a wood-trimmed dashboard, hand-stitched leather upholstery, and an innovative power-sliding centre console with a fridge cooler. The connectivity features include a large GMC infotainment system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, and a 15” diagonal multicolour Head-Up Display.
Safety
GMC has ensured the safety of the 2021 Yukon Denali through a range of driver-alert and active safety technologies. These include front and rear park assist, forward collision alert, front pedestrian and automatic emergency braking, lane change and rear pedestrian alert, advanced adaptive cruise control, and so much more.
Price
The 2021 GMC Yukon Denali comes with five years / 100,000 km warranty. The price starts from AED 318,000. Contact us for more details.
