Before the end of 2022, an odd new car will run across the city roads in specific markets. Known as the Mobilize Limo, it is a new zero-emission sedan from Renault that is tailored to meet the needs of workers offering mobility services. It means the sedan is perfect to work as a taxi, ride-hailing, and private vehicle hires.

Sorry, you cannot buy it because it is accessible only via a subscription, which makes us very disappointed seeing the car’s lovely design and features.

The official debut will happen at the 2021 Munich Motor Show; however, we have recently seen the digital premiere of this gorgeously looking car.

The Mobilize Limo is 183.9 inches (4.67 meters) long – a little shorter than a regular mid-size sedan. The wheelbase measures 108.3-inch (2.75-meter) offering 11.33 inches (288 millimetres) of rear-seat knee room.

To enhance the rear seat legroom and comfort level, it features a flat floor. Apart from two USB ports, occupants can make use of volume control knobs, adjustable air vents, and booklights.

Although the Mobilize Limo emphasizes more on comfort at the rear, it is really ergonomic and stylish in the front. The dash consists of two big displays – a 10.25-inch instrument panel and a 12.3-inch display for infotainment. A cooled storage compartment sits between the two front seats.

Performing the propulsion duty is a single motor, which is quite efficient at creating 150 horsepower (110 kilowatts) and 162 pound-feet (220 Newton-meters) of torque. With this power, the Mobilize Limo can hit 62 mph (100 kph) in 9.6 seconds and top out at 86 miles per hour (140 kilometres per hour).

Power comes from a 60-kilowatt-hour battery delivering about 279 miles (450 kilometres) of range on the WLTP cycle. You can add 155 miles (250 km) in only 40 minutes while using a fast-charging station. Most drivers in mobility companies cover the distance in a day.

For a sedan built for comfort and safe travel, how can Renault forget about advanced safety facilities? Making it secure are eight airbags and features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and so on.

Renault offers some extras for money including a Winter Pack with heated seats and a heated steering wheel. It also adds full LEDs, flush door handles, 17-inch aluminium wheels, and spread Mobilize logos at different places.

It seems like a pretty cool sedan for companies offering conveyance services. Whether it will be successful or not, only time will tell and for that, we have to wait for at least a year from now on.
