Bugatti promised to create 40 examples of Divo hypercars, and the last of the lot has just been delivered to its owner in Europe. We have some pictures of the final Bugatti Divo, and it looks stunning in EB 110 LM Blue with Dark Blue carbon and matte gold metallic wheels.
The interior has an identical theme featuring French Racing Blue and Deep Blue upholstery, with matte grey carbon trim.
The Bugatti Divo was named after French racing driver Albert Divo. Wearing a hefty price tag of $5.8 million, it is actually a Chiron’s alteration focusing on handling instead of speed.
So, it is lower in weight (-77 pounds), higher in downforce (+198 pounds), and greater in lateral acceleration (a top figure of 1.6g) than the regular Chiron. It is the reason it completed Italy’s Nardo handling circuit 8.0 seconds faster than the Chiron, though both the hypercars yield the same 1,480 horsepower. The Divo was also supposed to lap Nurburgring, but we didn’t hear about its attempt.
Talking about the Divo’s unveiling, it happened at the 2018 Monterey Car Week, but deliveries initiated in August last year, partially delayed owing to coronavirus pandemic. The creation of Divo opened avenues to create other limited-Edition Chiron models such as the La Voiture Noire and Centodieci, in addition to the track-focused Chiron Pur Sport.
After the final Bugatti Divo, the automaker will focus on its limited-edition Bolide boasting 1,824 hp and 2,733-pound curb weight. The French automaker says the Bolide can hit the 100 km/h mark in only 2.17 seconds and possibly complete the Nürburgring circuit in fewer than six minutes.
