Hyundai first showed us a teaser of the 2022 Elantra N last year in September followed by some images of the prototype later on. Now, the South Korean automaker has released two new teasers, which seem to show the production version.
These two images of the sports sedan reveal some facts worth talking about. Firstly, the 2022 Elantra N has two big rounded tailpipes and there we can see a little spoiler attached on the top of the boot cover.
The other picture unveils the snowflake-patterned wheels with a diamond-cut finish and opposing gloss black elements. The rubber is Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and it gets its stopping power from the red Hyundai N-branded callipers. Furthermore, we can see the red accents on the front bumper and the side skirts.
“We designed it to be a race-proven sportscar with dynamic driving capabilities and style that performance enthusiasts love,” Till Wartenberg, VP of Hyundai N brand, comments. “I can’t wait to unveil Elantra N, an outstanding addition to the N brand lineup that offers pulse-pounding performance. Stay tuned for the digital world premiere.”
While we can’t say when it will debut, the automaker has pledged to give us more details of the new 2022 Elantra N in the coming weeks.
