The Ford Mustang Mach 1 is no doubt an excellent sports car, famous for its thrilling performance. However, recently it made its customers unhappy in Australia. The reason was simple; the Australian customers didn’t find the advertised features in their vehicles.
To please the displeased Mach 1 customers, the automaker has chosen to offer them free servicing and a track day.
At the moment, the customers have to pay 390 AUD ($302), 445 AUD ($345), and 545 AUD ($422) for the first three services, respectively. This offer allows the Mach 1 customers to get free servicing for three years. Quite a generous deal, isn’t it?
Besides, Ford Australia is appeasing the unhappy owners with Ford Performance Experience – a free track day at any Australian racetrack of customer’s choice.
A few things that annoyed the Australian Mustang Mach 1 customers are 3.73:1Torsen limited-slip differential, rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control. All these were mentioned in the Mach 1 brochure for Australia. Instead of these, the owners got a 3.55:1 rear differential, a reversing camera, and regular cruise control.
The Ford Mustang Mach 1 costs AU$83,365 in Australia which is AU$20,000 extra than the regular Mustang GT. Only 700 units are destined for Australian markets.
