The Chiron Super Sport 300+ was no doubt an amazing hypercar that achieved 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h) in 2019. To make this event memorable, Bugatti decided to create 30 units of this. Those who have been unlucky to grab this speed beast should be happy to know that Bugatti has decided to create another Chiron Super Sport model, limited to just 9 units.
The new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport keeps the revised body extended by 25 centimetres (9.8 inches) contrasted to the regular Chiron for optimum airflow at high velocities. Double exhausts are there to render stronger sound thanks to the quad-turbo 8.0-litre mill generating 1,577 horsepower and 1,600 Newton-meters (1,180 pound-feet) of torque.
Contrasted to the Super Sport 300+, the new Chiron limited edition has different aluminium wheels with an option of the magnesium wheels that make the hypercar 23-kilogram (51-pound) lighter than the standard Chiron. Additionally, the new Bugatti Chiron Super Sport wears a bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tire that can regularly endure speeds of up to 311 mph (500 km/h).
The claimed speed figures for the new Chiron Super Sport are:
- 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 5.8 seconds
- 0 to 186 mph (300 km/h) in 12.1 seconds.
- Maximum speed limited to 273 mph (440 km/h)
Bugatti will start the development soon with deliveries beginning at the start of next year. We all know Bugattis’ are never cheap; it wears a hefty price tag of €3.2 million or US$3.9M.
