After a teaser campaign, Kia has finally shown us the fifth-generation Sportage. The fully-updated crossover follows a new design philosophy, which the automaker calls “Opposites United.” The 2022 Kia Sportage has a very thorough front-end with different lightning elements, in addition to the automaker’s new badging.
Kia has also updated the grille pattern and named it Digital Tiger Face. The black meshed grille covers most of the front fascia and boasts boomerang-shaped DRLs.
Seeing the 2022 Kia Sportage from the side gives us clean lines and a fresh wheel design. The rear has horizontal LED taillights.
How could Kia not give importance to the interior after revamping the exterior substantially? The interior now has a big curved display for the instrument and the infotainment. Furthermore, the interior is available in vibrant shades and two tones.
Besides, Kia offers the all-new Sportage X-Line trim that comes with a distinctive bumper, side sill, and rounded roof rack. On the inside, it comprises a signature sage green or black seating, on top of quilting and black metal wood.
The 2022 Kia Sportage will make its global debut in the near future and that’s when we can tell you about its powertrains and other crucial details.
