Buick has extensively updated its flagship Enclave SUV by improving its design and features. The 2022 Buick Enclave now comes with new headlamps and taillamps, revised front and rear bumpers, and modernized wheels. Inside, the three-row family hauler now boasts an updated centre console, a push-button shifter identical to that of the smaller Envision, and more.

The upscale Avenir has become even more lavish, as it gets new quilted leather upholstery, renewed wood trim, and massaging front seats with heat and ventilation. It also sports unique wheels, a distinct grille insert, and body-coloured lower trim panels.

What was optional in the driver-assist features list is now standard across the range. Therefore, expect the new 2022 Buick Enclave to come equipped with automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high-beam headlamps. Besides, rear parking sensors and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, as well. However, adaptive cruise control is still an elective feature. Furthermore, the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now be operated wirelessly.

In the power department, you won’t find any changes though. The SUV still engages the 310-hp 3.6-litre V-6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission to propel. The front-wheel-drive is standard, and the all-wheel drive is optional.

While the 2022 Buick Enclave has become more desirable with these new enhancements, its top Avenir trim still doesn’t match the elegance of SUVs from BMW and Mercedes.
