Kia has teased 2022 Sportage through its social media accounts before its official debut on June 8. The next-generation SUV certainly looks modern in shape, having some resemblance to the Hyundai Tucson. We can see a new headlight design and some cues taken from the K5 and the EV6. The rear also follows the angular theme with updated lenses.
On the inside, we find a large digital display. As we find in most other vehicles of today, the screen stretches from the driver side and ends in the middle. Of course, it will consist of a digital instrument cluster and infotainment display.
The design looks similar to the EV6 except for dissimilarities in climate vents and the steering wheel. Overall, we can say Kia has augmented the design both inside and out.
Being a vehicle sharing its platform with Tucson, we also hope to see an electrified version of 2022 Sportage as well as a host of safety and drive-assist systems to make it competitive in the segment.
The 2022 Sportage should hit the dealerships before the end of this year.
