Toyota has introduced the 2022 Highlander Bronze Edition with some cool visual tweaks. The Hybrid crossover will be available in both front- and all-wheel-drive configurations later this year.
The 2022 Highlander Bronze Edition offers buyers two unique shades – Cement grey and Wind Chill Pearl. The 18-inch wheels featuring a five-spoke pattern and a bronze finish are standard.
The changes are more pronounced inside with bronze-coloured stitching, illuminated door sill plates, and textured inserts for the seats. The floor and cargo mats feature a bronze logo.
The standard facilities include a hands-free power hatchback, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a digital rearview mirror, a 1,500-watt power outlet, puddle lamps displaying the Highlander emblem, in-dash ambient interior lighting, and a 10-way power driver’s seat.
Some of the updated features we find in the higher trims are also there for Bronze Edition. We are talking power-actuated height and tilt adjustments.
No changes are visible under the hood, so expect the standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder with hybrid assistance creating 243 horsepower (181 kilowatts) in total. The fuel economy stands at 36 miles per gallon for the front-wheel-drive and 35 miles per gallon combined for all-wheel-drive.
The pricing details will be out later on.
