Toyota has released a teaser image of its full-size pickup Tundra that should hit the roads this year as a 2022 model. The next-gen Tundra truck will compete against the Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, and Ram 1500.
Earlier we saw some leaked pictures of the Tundra’s front end and a few spy shots. Mashing them together give us a good idea of the front fascia.
The official teaser reveals bold headlights, a light bar extending across the middle of the grille, and three amber lights. The new Tundra we see here is a crew-cab model with a small bed and six-lug wheels.
The 2021 Tundra comes equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V-8 generating 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. Reportedly, it will be replaced with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 will take its place. A hybrid, as well as an all-electric model, is also planned. Furthermore, we believe the truck will come with coil springs, air springs, or even an independent rear suspension.
To know more about the next-gen Tundra, stay tuned.
