The Fast and Furious 8 will hit the theaters in America on June 25 and it will again feature some exotic cars. If you are a fan of the franchise, we are sure you would remember the Lykan Hypersport from Furious 7, released in 2015.

The Emirati sports car manufacturer, W Motors, developed 10 units of Lykan Hypersport and destroyed all of them during stunts except one, which will be auctioned by RubiX on May 11.  Pre-bidding has already started.

“We are honored to be partnering with W Motors to bring this piece of pop culture history to market as the first vehicle NFT in which the buyer will take ownership of the physical asset along with exclusive digital content – this has never been done before in NFTs,” Nithin Palavalli, RubiX CEO, states. “As NFTs continue to infiltrate different industries, RubiX is pioneering technological advancements that will shape the future of automotive sales and W Motors is the perfect partner to work with to bring this to market.”

For those having a keen interest in exotic cars, the Lykan Hypersport came with a hefty $3.4 million price tag. It boasted a 3.7-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine good for 780 horsepower (582 kilowatts) and 708 pound-feet (960 Newton-meters) of torque at 4,000 rpm.
