While the world is dealing with coronavirus pandemic, cancelling all auto shows, China has opened doors for the Auto Shanghai 2021. The event will be open to the public from April 21 to April 28. Honda has prepared for the show diligently and will have some surprises in store.
While we don’t know many details, we can tell you there will be two electrified cars making their global debuts. The first one will be a plug-in hybrid, Honda teased on April 8 and the other will be the brand’s first all-electric car. Besides, the company will unveil Honda’s third-generation Connect, its next-gen safety and self-driving tech, and so much more.
Of course, Honda will showcase a variety of the electrified models it is offering right now along with Acura RDX and China-only CDX crossover. There will be a range of motorcycles as well.
There isn’t much we know about the EV prototype but we can guess it will relate to the SUV e:concept we had witnessed at the 2020 Beijing Auto Show.
We will get all the answers soon and journalists will get the first view. The Auto Shanghai 2021 starts on April 21 but media people will be there taking photos and review cars on April 19.
