Kia publicized that they have received over 21,000 reservations on the first day of pre-booking for its first dedicated electric vehicle, the EV6 in South Korea. It is a remarkable response from buyers, similar to what we see in the case of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 that received 23,760 reservations in a day in South Korea only.
Kia officially debuted the EV6 on March 30 with a promise to launch it in the second half of this year.
While we do not know how many bookings the EV6 made in Europe, it should be very high since Ioniq 5 took the market by storm when it was launched in the old continent.
European customers can pre-order the Kia EV6 by making a €100 ($118) refundable deposit. Kia will start taking orders next month with deliveries expected in September.
All the EV6 models will come with some exclusive benefits (terms and conditions applied) like:
– access to the IONITY charging network for one year
– one-year subscription to KiaCharge
