Tesla has finally succeeded in registering its first annual profit. While some of the earning came through retailing EV credits to other car companies, the electric automaker is indeed making profits. Besides, Tesla recently introduced the redesigned Model S and Model X. The CEO Elon Musk says, “2021 is going to be more exciting. I think it’s going to be a great year for Tesla.”

While disclosing the news of first annual profit, Musk again promised to offer Full Self-Driving (FSD) tech this year. The FSD is currently in beta stage and has previously been pledged to be accessible to Tesla owners in 2019 as well as in 2020.

This $10,000 Full Self-Driving service will be available in the next two months. However, we didn’t get any word how the company plans to transition from beta to the alpha stage. Once out, Tesla will venture into the domain of robotaxis.

The discussion about the FSD subscription feature started when Tesla had to answer about the transfer of the current FSD subscribers to a new vehicle. Musk replied, “Unfortunately, we’re not considering that at this time.” Musk also revealed, “Tesla is definitely going to make an electric van at some point.”
