Bugatti has just delivered the first example of its super-fast car, the Chiron Pur Sport, to a U.S. customer. Only 60 examples are destined for the worldwide markets, and this one landed at Bugatti of Greenwich, Connecticut, wearing a $3.6 million price tag.
The Chiron Pur Sport differs from its big brother in many ways. Starting with 110 pounds less weight than the regular Chiron, it features a 74.8-inch fixed rear spoiler, a lighter pair of wheels covered in specially created Michelin Sport Cup 2R tires, a rigid suspension, and a 3D-printed lightweight titanium exhaust.
The first Bugatti Pur Sport arrived in the U.S. sports Quartz White paint with exposed carbon fiber and Gun Powder accents. The interior features a glass roof, and seats are done in Italian Red leather.
The Pur Sport boasts Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W-16 mill that generates 1,500 horsepower, which is the same the regular Chiron creates. However, it comes with a 6900-rpm redline. The company says the supercar can hit 100 km/h in only 2.3 seconds.
Bugatti only plans to create 60 Pur Sport models. The good news is we already have it in the UAE and had a chance to take it for a test drive. Check out our review above.
