Nissan has updated the new Armada giving it better looks, lots of techs, and more power. The 2021 Nissan Armada front fascia gets new LED headlights, a V-shaped grille, optional LED foglights, updated taillights, and a redesigned bumper.
There is no change in the power department; however, the 5.6-liter V8 now generates 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, which is 10 horsepower and 19 pound-feet more than the outgoing model. The transmission is the same i.e. a seven-speed automatic and so is the towing capacity of 8,500 pounds. However, customers now have a choice of an integrated trailer brake controller and trailer sway control on select variants.
Get inside and the first thing you notice is the larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen instead of the earlier 8.0-inch display with an updated resolution of 1920 x 720 pixels supporting wireless Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the top of the line Platinum comes with an improved and bigger rearview mirror camera i.e. 9.4 inches instead of 7.5 inches previously, with a higher-density display.
The 2021 Nissan Armada SUV comes equipped with Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite as standard equipment encompassing adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and lane-keeping assist.
