The Japanese automaker has revealed the 2021 Nissan Navara (the Frontier for the American markets) digitally boasting a new front fascia and a classy PRO-4X trim. The automaker has given it a facelift by altering the front grille, LED taillights, and tailgate.
One of the most exciting parts of this reveal is the new PRO-4X variant boasting solid offroading credentials for the US markets. However, the PRO-4X is a little different for the European / South American markets, coming with cosmetic tweaks only such as blacked-out accents and a few orange bits all over the place.
The prominent changes below the skin include a more robust rear axle, higher payload capacity, and a greater bed volume. It also gets a new step integrated into the rear bumper for effortlessly entering the bed.
The 2021 Nissan Navara comes with a range of safety facilities boasting forward collision warning, emergency braking, and rain-sensing wipers. The pickup truck also has a new around-view monitor as well as an off-road monitor.
The interior now welcomes you with an improved 8-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch digital driver’s touchscreen with a higher resolution.
We did not hear anything about powertrain changes, so we believe the 2021 Nissan Navara will come with the same old engine options. It will first hit the roads in Thailand, with UAE and US markets follow shortly.
