The Ras Al Khaimah Police Traffic and Patrols Department has decided to go hard against the lane discipline violators. Brigadier Ahmad Al Sum Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that they have activated all the radars in the Emirate to detect the violators. Any motorist who will not maintain a mandatory traffic lane movement will get Dh400 fine.
Brigadier Al Naqbi stressed the motorists to follow the traffic signs and cooperate with the Police to make roads safer for all. The radars not only photograph drivers who violate lane discipline but also catch those who jump the red light signal and those who cross an intersection at a high speed.
Brigadier Al Naqbi emphasized that the motorists must drive in the specified lane and should not change them. They must turn left or right according to the road signs only.
