Kia is working on its “Plan S” at full speed in the US. As part of this strategy, they introduced some attractive vehicles including the Telluride crossover, the K5 sedan, the Seltos, the Sorento, and so on. The ‘Plan S’ will actually kick-off at the start of next year, focusing on electrification and giving vehicles the new Kia logo.

Kia’s global CEO, Ho Sung Song says they want to make the brand “more dynamic, stylish, and inventive.” In this regard, the company has plans to launch 11 electric vehicles in the next five years.

“We have to prepare ourselves with advanced countermeasures for all these,” Song stated during an interview. “We will try to set up our new customer target together with our brand relaunch.”

The new Kia logo was first shown to the public on the Imagine concept car in 2019. The new logo will make its debut on a new model next year.

Kia has given it a customary wordmark and italicized it for a more dynamic appearance. The three Kia letters now join, unlike the signature circular surround emblem.
