In the pursuit to update its US lineup, Mitsubishi is going to introduce the facelifted Eclipse Cross soon. The automaker just teased the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross with “radically changes at the front and rear” to give it “a more upscale and energetic styling.”

If you remember the e-Evolution concept from the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, you will find the teased vehicle has some resemblance to it on the front and the rear. The tweaked image below gives a good idea of it.

The 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will hit the US markets at the start of next year, so we have the official debut soon. That’s all we know about the new crossover so far.

However, we do know the automakers’ other plans for the North American markets. Before the end of this year, we are hoping for the new Outlander PHEV with an enhanced combustion engine and a better electric range. In the first Q1 next year, we will see 2021 Mirage and Mirage G4 followed by the next-generation Outlander.

E-Evolution

Bad news for European customers though. The company has halted its production in the Old Continent and is going to concentrate more on Southeast Asia to cut costs and get back on the profitability track.
