While revealing plans for the new Rouge Electric Vehicle Center, Ford teased the 2023 F-150 EV. What piqued our interest seeing it are the traditional styling cues of the standard F-150. The electric truck’s fenders, mirrors, and hood all will look similar to its internal-combustion engine sibling.
The teaser reveals a full-width front light bar, and an ultra-modern textured grille. In fact, the whole front fascia including all bevels, edges, and front headlights render a robotic look.
About the performance of the 2023 F-150 EV, Ford is still tight-lipped but they did promise it will be their most powerful F-150 creation. It means we can expect over 450 horsepower (336 kilowatts).
The power would be generated with the help of two electric motors; one fixed at the front and the other on the rear. Reportedly, the battery pack will fit in the truck’s frame to enhance weight distribution as well as to fortify the chassis for increased payload capacity.
We will update the story when something new develops. Meanwhile, you watch the F-150 EV prototype towing a 1Million+ Pounds.
