The American tuner Hennessey is not new to famous pickup truck modifications. We have seen them creating the VelociRaptor and Goliath 6×6, so why they would not want to modify the new RAM TRX. The tuner recently confirmed the Hennessey RAM TRX 6×6 truck, which obviously would have more power than the stock model.
While the RAM TRX is already a very powerful machine creating 702 horsepower (523 kilowatts) out of the supercharged Hellcat V8, that’s clearly not enough for the tuner. To make things interesting, the Taxes tuner replaced the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 a 7.0-liter Hellephant V8 crate engine from Mopar that is capable of generating 1,000 hp (745 kW). The engineers will further tweak it to bump the power to 1,200 ponies, thus making it the tuner’s most muscular creation.
Furthermore, the tuner will enhance the TRX suspension to accommodate the extra weight as well as make it look different from inside and out.
“We are very excited about the Ram TRX,” said the company’s founder and CEO John Hennessey. “Mammoth 6X6 powered by a 1,200-hp Hellephant motor is just a completely ridiculous idea, which is exactly why we are doing this. We are only going to build three examples which will likely make this the most exclusive and most expensive truck we’ve ever built.”
Yes, the Hennessey Ram TRX 6×6 will be limited to only three units. Since the TRX is not out yet, we have to wait for a while to see the modified creation in action. The price is not revealed yet, but we bet it will be eye-watering.
