The 2021 Acura TLX was introduced in May and now we have got its pricing details. Although a much-improved version of the outgoing model, the new TLX is about $4,500 costlier compared to the 2020 model. The second-generation TLX starts at $37,500. Add the All-Wheel-Drive and it demands $39,500.

To counter the queries related to the price increase, Acura brings up the new power unit. The base TLX carries a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder mill instead of the previous 2.4L that pumps out 272 horsepower. It is not only the same power the TLX V6 generates but also a better torque. The 2.4L is able to yield 206 hp.

For the 2021 TLX Type S V6, Acura has replaced the 3.5L with the turbocharged 3.0L engine that churns out about 355 hp. That’s again a good bump over the power figure of the six-pot. This variant is equipped with Acura’s SH-AWD system and 20-inch wheels. The company did not reveal the pricing details yet but we believe it will be in the low-to-mid $50,000 range.

The 2021 Acura TLX Type S may hit the roads in Spring 2021; however, the 2.0T variant will be accessible from next month in the US. No words from the automaker, when it will be available here in the UAE.
