After showing us the teasers last month, the Hyundai Elantra N Line finally breaks cover with a bolder and sportier look and perky 201 horsepower.
The sporty sedan carries a 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder good for 201 horsepower and 265 Newton-meters of torque. The engine can mate to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Although it looks pretty much like the regular Elantra, there are some subtle changes like updated Cascading Grille, trapezoidal inlets to the sides, black trim on the mirror caps and side skirts, and so on. At the rear, we can find a spoiler merging into the rear deck as well as a little diffuser and a pair of chrome exhaust outlets.
The new Hyundai Elantra N Line sports 18-inch wheels featuring a two-tone design. Hop in to find sport seats with leather reinforcement along with leather-wrapped steering wheel.
To make it a safe ride, Hyundai added forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane following assist, high beam assist, driver attention warning, blind spot assist, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist.
Not much is known about when will it arrive in the UAE, however, it will reportedly be available in the US in December. The company also says they are readying the more powerful Sonata N Line employing a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The pricing details will be revealed closer to the launch.
