The 2021 Mazda3 will hit the US showrooms this month wearing a minimum price tag of $22,445 for the sedan and $23,445 for the hatchback. The entry-level models are accessible with naturally-aspirated SkyActiv-G 2.0L and 2.5L engines. However, those who really want to enjoy the ride should go for the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo that starts at $30,845 (including $945 destination charge) for the sedan and $31,845 for the hatchback.

The turbocharged SkyActiv-G 2.5T mill churns out 227 horsepower (169 kilowatts) and 420 Newton-meters of torque on 87 octane fuel. Using better premium 93 octane adds 23 hp and 14 Nm torque to the output. The engine pairs with an automatic gearbox powering all the wheels.

Comparing the prices of the entry-level models with the Turbo models, we can see a big jump in premium. However, the Turbos come with lots of high-tech standard facilities such as a power moonroof, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, LED headlights and DRLs, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and lots of active and passive safety technologies.

If that’s not enough, buyers can even opt for Premium Plus Package (minimum $2,550 for the sedan and $2,850 for the hatch).

The 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo will be available by the end of this year in the US markets. We have no words from the automaker when will it arrive in the UAE.
