First unveiled in January, GMC issued a press release yesterday announcing the official debut of Hummer EV before the end of this year. The all-electric truck will hit the assembly lines in fall 2021, while the pre-orders will start soon after its official revealing.
GMC says it is the world’s first all-electric super truck and rightly so owing to its 1000 horsepower powertrain that can generate a monstrous 11,500 lb-ft of torque. This massive power enables the truck to hit 96 km/h from standstill in just 3.0 seconds. That’s an insane speed for a pickup truck. And remember, it is equally capable off-road. The instant torque would enable it to conquer any off-road terrain.
The details of the GMC Hummer EV are scarce at the moment. However, you can sign up for updates here. Stay tuned!
