Under the GMC supervision, the Hummer H1 is going to get the electrification treatment. However, if that’s not your cup of tea, Mil-Spec Automotive has something to satisfy your gas-guzzling truck urge. Meet the Mil-Spec Hummer H1 boasting the mountain-moving diesel engine.
The Michigan-based tuner is not new to modifying Humvee-inspired SUVs. In 2018, they created some inspiring machines and now they have improved upon their last production and installed a 6.6-lL Duramax turbodiesel generating 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts) and an enormous 1,356 Newton-meters of torque.
The Mil-Spec Hummer H1 gets a 30-gallon extended range aluminum fuel cell for long journeys. The exterior sports a Deep Sky Black Kevlar-infused polyurethane paint with semi-gloss black powder-coated accents for a menacing appearance.
Mind it, the Mil-Spec Hummer H1 isn’t cheap at all. You should at least have $300,000 laying around to get the H1 you see in the pictures.
