The brainchild of a British billionaire Sir James Arthur Ratcliffe, the Ineos Automotive has revealed their first offroader, the Grenadier with a good similarity to the Land Rover Defender. However, do not get too excited yet because the company has just revealed a prototype of the Ineos Grenadier. Ineos Automotive CEO, Dirk Heilmann says, we showed the full face of the vehicle because we are “a new business, building a new brand, and we want to take people with us on this exciting journey.”
Although we do not have specs of the Ineos Grenadier, we do know if it is not built on the old Defender. It is developed from the ground up with a focus on customization. Customers can fully customize this 4×4, choosing factory options and add-ons as per their liking.
While we can get some idea of the exterior features from the images, we do not know anything about the interior as well as its powertrain. That said, we are expecting a modest engine capable of conquering any terrain.
Ineos will test drive the vehicle for a year before presenting the production version. We have to wait for the official announcement when they plan to launch it.
