First introduced in concept form last year, Nissan’s all-electric crossover Ariya is ready to make its official debut on July 15. The Nissan Ariya EV Crossover will be a global player hitting the Japanese roads first and will later reach the US and European markets.

Boasting the Nissan’s ProPilot 2.0 autonomous driving system, as per reports from Automotive News, the all-electric crossover will come with single- and dual motor setups delivering around 483 kilometers drive range.

“The highlight of the new Nissan Ariya is the fusion of electrification and advanced driver-assist technologies that is expected to develop into self-driving cars in the future,” Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida stated. “We expect the all-new Ariya to play a key role as a brand driver and face of Nissan for the new era.”

Nissan will produce the crossover at the Tochigi assembly plant with plans to start deliveries to the U.S. in the second half of next year. We expect it to be priced around $40,000 and compete against the likes of Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y.

We have no news regarding its introduction to the UAE market. Stay tuned for updates!
