The Sant’Agata Bolognese-based supercar maker has showcased a few images of the SCV12 and some details, mentioning its V12 engine is the most powerful the automaker has ever produced. The full market launch will take place in the summer.
Developed by Lamborghini’s motorsport division, the Lamborghini Squadra Corse is not a race car as such but it comes with so many track-ready features that it could beat most on a race day.
It comes with a superior downforce and better aerodynamic score than the GT3 car. The long hood makes all the difference as it features double air intake and a central rib guiding airflow to the air intake scoop situated on the top.
Generating power under the hood is the famous naturally-aspirated V12 engine, “capable of exceeding 830 hp thanks to aerodynamic supercharging at high speed.” The engine pairs with a sequential six-speed gearbox with a pushrod rear suspension system sending power to the rear wheels. Performing the propelling duty are Pirelli tires 19- and 20-inch (front and back) magnesium alloys.
Pricing details are unknown yet, however, we know it will be built in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Expert more on this in summer.
