The South Korean automaker has unveiled the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe featuring an updated design and a new platform. The mid-cycle update promises us improved performance, better handling, and more safety tech along with the option for electrified powertrains.

Seeing the new Santa Fe, we can notice a wider and bolder front grille, which is available in different designs for different versions. The split headlights are also updated and feature reshaped LED daytime running lights. The wheels are 20-inch alloy.

At the back, we see a new light bar that spans the whole backend. Moreover, the automaker has added a new reflector that covers the whole rear bumper. We can also find the updated skid plate.

Although the automaker didn’t specify the technical details of the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, we know it will be more spacious than the outgoing model featuring an updated center console. We are also expecting a Terrain Mode selector in the center console. It will contain sand, snow and mud, eco, comfort, sport, and smart modes. The midsize SUV will boast 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment as well as a digital 12.3-inch driver’s display.

Hyundai did not provide us any details on the engine options yet. We hope they will share details of the mills soon.

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe will hit European roads this September. However, American and Middle East debuts are still a mystery. Stay tuned for updates!
