The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 Coupe and Cabriolet models have been unveiled with a fresh design, new tech, and safety features. The performance models feature the same smooth looks of the E-Class sedan and coupe. The exterior styling encompasses LED headlights, fresh taillights, the AMG Panamericana grille, and a new pair of 19-inch, five-spoke wheels.
Both the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 Coupe and Cabriolet models will give you two new color choices i.e. Brilliant Blue Magno and Graphite Grey Metallic. Moreover, you can opt for the AMG Night Package for blacked-out mirror covers and trim parts or AMG Carbon Fiber package for carbon fiber mirrors, a carbon fiber lip spoiler, and a carbon fiber trunk lid.
One thing that AMG didn’t alter in the E53 models is the power source. Both the cars carry the old turbocharged 3.0L inline-six yielding 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet (520 newton-meters) of torque. The engine mates to a nine-speed transmission that spins all the wheels.
The E53 boasts five distinct drive modes namely Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual. Both models also feature the standard AMG Ride Control Plus air suspension system.
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG E53 Coupe and Cabriolet models will hit the roads in the coming months. The pricing details are still unknown. However, the 2020 Coupe costs $74,950 while the Cabriolet demands $80,350 at least.
